The beginning.. Don't mind my tree stump stands. I had to paint out in the junkyard so that I didn't spray paint my casa:)

Luckily before I started glazing/distressing this beauty myself my friend Jill (who by the way is amazing at this kind of stuff) showed up to help me!

We beat this sucker with chains, screwdrivers, hammers, and sanded it until my sander broke. tear:(

A couple of weekends ago I bought this little baby at a yard sell for $5.00

After 4 coats of black paint and accidentally dropping it in to the fresh cut grass here it is! Not too shabby. Now if Russ would hang it up I would be in business.

Next on the list is my craft room/computer desk!

Yesterday my babies turned 2!

We got a fire pit, had a BBQ, made home made banana ice cream and had a b-day party for them and Aub. She turned the big 22 on the 16th!

We went and got the rocking chair that my Mom had when she was prego with me out of storage.

We obviously will not be rocking babies, but Kaia loves it.

She loves Russ more than anything:)

This is my baby. I love this little guy so much.

Russell's Dad came down to pick up some things for his trailer and we went with him.That is where I discovered true love:) Look at this baby.. I told Russ when I make my first million doing hair I'm going to get it!

We could sell our house and be camp hosts!

I wonder if they will trade us straight across for ours.. After we left that one Russ had to go and freshen up in another one. He was too tall for all of the showers and too long for all of the beds!

Pretty good weekend overall. Found some cool furniture to re-do at a yard sale, along with my sweet rocking chair. Now we are off to Fairview to look at a 72' Chevy.

As if my yard doesn't already look like a junk yard!

This morning we went to Deer Creek around 9-ish. We did not catch a thing, so we came home and decided to clean up the yard a little and paint our porch railings before they rust away.

Don't mind the junk-yard behind us.. That's a whole other post!

It was 82 degrees today according to my car so we headed on down to McDonald's and got a frozen lemonade.

And the finished product.After we painted the railings we gave the dogs a bath and went to Utah Lake. Seriously not a good fishing day:( It was so windy that you couldn't even cast. We gave up and came home to play a little Frisbee!

We are all exhausted and ready for bed! This has been the longest 3 day weekend of my life. And I am ready to go back to work. Where I am FOR SURE it is less stressful than being at home:)

Last night Russ and I went fishing. We didn't catch anything but it was still so much fun.

We hit up Del Taco and off we went!

I love living where we do. 5 minutes from the canyon, 3 from the lake. It makes quick fishing trips easy to do.. Hopefully my next fishing post has a big ole catfish in it:)

Walk it off

Tonight we went on a family walk to the hospital and back. ( about 2 miles)
Since we have all put on a little extra winter insulation we have been going on walks or to the gym every night. I don't think that these two knew what they were getting in to!

The second we got home Grizzly collapsed on the grass. Look at his tongue!

And Kaia Lou is determined to get her puppy bikini body back:)

Memories and My dream home

Main Street, American Fork. I love this street. I love this town.

This is the house that my Dad grew up in. It is about 2 blocks down the street from our house. I am in love with everything about this house. If I had all of the money in the world this is the house I would pick. My Dad is always telling me stories about growing up there.

One day he brought home a couple of baby goats. Some how they had snuck into the house and went out an open window onto the roof. My Granny (His Mom) could not figure out why people were stopping and pointing at her house. Well the roof was covered in baby goats! I cant drive by without thinking about that!

They use to hide on the roof and throw apples at people driving by. They people would get out and search for the "apple throwers" but they could never find them.

Or the time when my Grandpa Ince brought his horse into the house for the night.. He brought him right on into the living room!

Blogging Hiatus!

Ahh.. It has only been 5 months since my last post!

We FINALLY got Internet so I will try to update this baby a little more often.
Saturday Russ and I took a little trip to home depot and got a few things to make our yard look a little less ghetto! It is slowly getting there.. We also bought the paint to paint the window seals and hand railings. I cant wait until the good weather is here to stay and then we will paint the outside and get a new front door and build shutters.. All I want is a new front door.. A BRIGHT RED one:)

In other news:

Our basement is finished! I am still in shock that itis done. I will post pictures when I decide to fold laundry and clean:) Now I need to re-do the upstairs ahh.. never ending construction.

I start school in September. Could not be more excited, or scared! 134 days and counting. After watching Jerseylicious I am convinced that doing hair is my destiny! And since I am completely miserable where I am at now with my "job" it is time to get er' done. Beauty school round 2.

We are planning a family vacation to California in July. It will be their first time to Disneyland/Sea world. 4 days in Cali 3 days in Vegas. We are way over-due for a vacay. 58 days and counting!

Friday night ( New Years Eve) We went to the Huka Bar to see Royal Bliss. It was so much fun. We definitely rang in the New Year! It was a great way to start off 2011. We danced the night away.. right on into the morning!

Some things that I am looking forward too in 2011 (not in order)

We are new home owners. I am so excited to finish our home and our yard.

I am looking forward to spending as much time as possible with friends and family.

Camping, camping and more camping.

My 4th wedding anniversary.

Family trip to Disneyland and Seaworld.

Going to the lake every chance I get.

Turning 25..tear! I am not really excited about that one..

Traveling with Russ. There are so many places I want to go and thing I want to see. I want to enjoy our marriage and make the most of it!

Hell.. I might even go back to school!

I feel so blessed and I am just very anxious and excited to see what this year is going to bring!

These little critters are in my house and I am freaking out. The death toll is around 8. We did not have them last year, maybe its because there were so many cats running around the yard?? I am not desperate enough to get one though!

We attempted family pictures yesterday and I am not so sure about the outcome.. 2 dogs + heels + mountain= DISASTER!

I hated my new phone until I discovered all of the awesome photo apps that I can download! I am in LOVE with this one.. Its called Toy Cam! We took this one when we were getting ready to leave.. so maybe we will try pictures again using my phone!

Saturday I finally picked out our Halloween costumes.. I know I am a slacker! Aub and I spent at least 2 hours at the Halloween store trying on costumes, laughing so hard, and almost getting kicked out for opening wigs and such! WARNING: DO NOT TAKE PICTURES IN THE STORE.. LAME!

Our final decision.. I will be a cave woman and Russell will be Alan from the hangover! I cant wait to dress up. I am seriously considering getting dreads! I drove all over town with this wig on. I rock!

After a day of shopping we went to my Madres to carve pumpkins! Here are the finished products! (Russells/Mine) I love Halloween!

We are still alive! It feels like we have been in a tornado of chaos the past year and a half.. But We are back and doing wonderful! All of our hard work and patience has paid off and we are now homeowners. For those of you know how crazy this has been it is such a relief to say " Its finally ours"

Here are just a couple of pictures of some of the things we have done. We have basically had to tear down an old house and build a new one inside it.. I am so excited to finish everything and complete our little dream home!

And with a house payment like ours I am glad we stuck it out!

After a MUCH needed getaway to California ( Thank you so much Mary and Terry) We returned home not knowing if we would be able to start working on our house. Thursday morning we went over there and we able to start construction!

We tore out all of the old red and yellow shag carpet down stairs and knocked down some of the wood panelling. We are not really worried about down stairs because we can finish that while we are living upstairs! Just as long and its empty and clean..

When we tore out the carpet upstairs there was hardwood floor in both bedrooms and half of the living room. I was so excited because its the "old" hardwood from 1944 and I am going for the "old" look so once we re-finish it, it will look amazing! And for some weird reason it stopped right in the middle of the living room which is right where I wanted to the carpet to start so that turned out perfect:)

We knocked down the ceiling in the living room because it was this old asbestos tile stuff and my lungs are still burning..

We bought paint and light fixtures for the bedrooms yesterday. The colors will be Crisp autumn leaves and Mossy Green. I do not want one wall left white. I love color and I am so excited to be able paint things how I want them!

I am so happy and so relieved that we are finally able to start working on it. And hopefully we will be in there before Thanksgiving. I just hope that all of the bad news is over!

Here is a little update just for Lacy!

Russ and I have been working ALOT lately. He changed routes about a month ago and now he is working in Provo again. It is a bigger route and the commission is better but I wish he was still in American Fork. Our puppies are getting so big and they are so cute! After having 2 dogs I seriously do not think I could handle children.. I think I am meant to just be a dog mom! I cant wait to take them sledding.. We are doing family pics next weekend and so I will put some on here as soon as I go to my Moms and use her computer.. Mine is in storage:(

Russell took his concealed weapons class a while ago and being the bomb wife that I am I took him to Gunnies last Saturday and bought him a Glock! Lucky sucker.. He has been playing with it ever since. We are still waiting to find out what is going on with the house.. Go figure! That whole thing is such a joke. If this is not resolved by the 1st of November we will be looking at houses elsewhere! I need my own space back NOW:) We both are taking a week off in November and we can not wait. We do not know what we are doing yet because once again we are waiting to find out about this damn house! But we have to get outta here for a couple days I do not care where we go!

And that's it! Things have not been too exciting lately:) But I promise I will try to update this thing more often!

Friday Russ, Aub and I went to the Bellamy Brothers! We have been waiting for ever to see them. It was so much fun! After they sang their last song "Redneck Girl" we thought that they were done so everyone started to leave. Then they walked back out on stage and sang their new gospel song(It freakin rocked) so Aub and I ran down and sat on the 3rd row! The old guy next to me was pretty mean and gave me some dirty looks when I came flying down the stairs and sat next to him! There was really only older people there considering they had their 1st #1 song in 1976.. But we loved it and we love them! After the show we went and bought some bandannas and got our picture taken with them. They were really nice and next year we WILL be on the front row baby! Because you ain't just a whistlin Dixie!

She is so cute! She is a little fatty 13.5 pounds. She is shorter and smaller than Grizz and She listens a lot better too! She loves to snuggle and She looks like a little wolf. We named her Kaia because it means "sister" in Cherokee (Indian) They are so cute together, they play and nap all day!

This is really late but I have been busy! For my birthday all I wanted to do was go cat fishing.. So we had a romantic dinner at McDonald's and headed down to the lake! It was the best time I think I have had fishing even though we did not catch anything! After we fished for about an hour Aub came down and we saw some girls doing a photo shoot (The ones in the back ground of Russells picture) so we decided to do our our own little photo shoot! We will be sending these in to Field and Stream Magazine jk!

And NO.. I do not mean a baby! We are getting Grizz`s sister.. My Dad gave her to a guy that lived by him and when this guy lost his job he left his house and.. his dog! That is sad but I am very excited because growing up I had dogs that were sisters and they had so much fun together. Now when We move into our house Grizz wont have to be home alone all day!

I am also a little nervous because We do not know anything about her. I just know that Grizz was in pretty bad shape when we got him and as far as I know she has never been de-wormed,
to the vet or had any shots so hopefully we can get her feeling better! I feel so bad for these little puppies they have been through alot but I know that they will have a good home with us:) I just hope Grizz gets along with her because he is so jealous!

We have been packing and moving the for the last week. We had to be out of our town home
yesterday and with work and not getting home until 7:00 pm it has called for some pretty long nights! Thanks to everyone that helped us move I know it was not fun, but we could not have done it with out you.. Seriously! We owe you:)

Russ and our Dads almost have the porch railings done and they will be finished Saturday. The appraiser comes out Monday and then hopefully soon after we will start paperwork.

This past year has been a real struggle not only with the house but just life, We have had a lot of trials. Looking back I realize that everything happens for a reason. Even though at the time you might think that there is no way that you are going to make it. God will NEVER give you something that you can not handle. And I have learned that if think you can't handle it, You are not talking to him enough! Because He is the only one that can get you through it.

Russ and I are very blessed with wonderful families and great friends.. Life is beautiful!

Parvo..

Yesterday Grizz, Russ and I went to Silver Lake with Aub and Tinkerbell (My Grandmas Dog)
When We got up there and Grizz was just hanging out under the chair barking at all the big dogs. He played in the water a little, but mostly he just laid there and slept. When we got home I gave him a bath. After he dried off he just laid on the couch and fell asleep. I just thought he is a puppy and puppies sleep alot but usually he wants to play before bed so I got a little worried. He sleeps at the foot of our bed on his blanket and when I put him in there he didn't even open his eyes but he moaned a little and acted like he couldn't get comfortable. Around 11:50 I heard him throwing up thats when I knew it was parvo.. He ate a little food and drank some water I made him a bed on the bathroom floor by his food bowl and he didn't throw up the rest of the night.

Russ took him to the vet this morning and sure enough I was right. They said that we are very lucky that we caught it before it was too bad and that they wanted to keep him there for 3 to 5 days just to make sure he stays hydrated and to start antibiotics. I was a mess when Russ called me and told me I was just thinking about all of the bad things I have heard about parvo and I couldn't imagine him feeling that sick. I think everyone thought I was taking it a little too hard but he is like my little baby I fell so much in love with that little guy the minute I got him and Russ even cried when he found out.. Grizz is a fighter and I know he will make it. If he can survive the first week of his little life out in the sage brush with no food or water he can beat this!

I called the vet around 2:30 to check on him and she said he was doing good and that he was still hooked up to the I.V. I could hear him raising hell in the background(He thinks he is a big tuff dog) She said that he was the "Feistiest cutest puppy" that she has ever seen! That's my boy:) They called later on this evening and told Russ they gave him water and he has kept that down if he can keep food down tomorrow then he can come home Wednesday. I hope he gets better because I cant wait to see him!

Baby Grizz!

Last Friday Russ, Aub and I drove down to see my Dad. When we got down there I was telling him we needed to hurry and get this house stuff done because I wanted to get a puppy. Just then he told me that he already had one and he kept him especially for me.... I thought he was kidding but he went into his house and brought out this tiny chunky baby puppy. I wanted an American bulldog and planned on getting one after we were settled and had our house but when my Dad told me about this little guy I couldn't help but take him home (Even though we are NOT allowed to have pets) My Dad had been working on the lower part of his property and he heard these little squeaking sounds so he walked over and found 2 brand new pups 1 boy and 1 girl. He said they either were dropped off there, or born there and the mom took off. He is already spoiled rotten and insists on being wrapped and held in a blankie! He spends his nights at home with us playing all night long and not letting me get ANY sleep.. And he spends his days at my Moms playing with Freddy Fu Fu while we are at work! I never wanted a "Mutt" dog and I feel bad for saying that because they need love too. But this little guy changed my mind and he is just so cute. And even if it means getting evicted he is a keeper! Look at his little chunky belly... He was so sleepy after a hard day full of swimming, popping birthday balloons and chasing the goose!

Today my baby sister turns 6..

The morning that my Mom was scheduled to have her C-Section we all woke up at 4am to go to the hospital. When my Mom walked outside to put her stuff in the car the mini van was gone and there was 2 big skid marks down the driveway. The night before I had borrowed the van (because I was 16!) but I parked it back in the driveway. My Mom came in laughing and asked me if I had parked it on the street. Now why would I pull into the drive way, do a burn out and then go park it on the street at 1:00 in the morning??? ( She thinks I am crazy like that) After I convinced her that it was not me she called and the police and reported it stolen.. So we loaded up in the truck and went to the hospital with NO car seat because it was in the "stolen van" Come to find out, the bank repossed the wrong persons van and when they repo ANYTHING they are suppose the report it to the police so that if this happens they can tell you why your car is gone. What makes it even better.. her van was paid off!

After a very eventful morning this beautiful girl was born! I love her so much and I do not know what I would do without her.. Love you so much Livie and I hope you have the best birthday ever!

Springer Reunion

Last weekend was the Springer Reunion. We had been working on our trailer every weekend for the last year trying to have it ready and we finally finished it the weekend before the reunion. I did not take any "before" pictures because I do not want to remember what it looked like before but here is a picture of the finished product!

We were really nervous about our first camping trip in it and we were hoping that nothing would go wrong. As we started driving up Provo Canyon we heard a loud crash. We thought that one of the propane tanks fell off. Russ pulled over and I got out to see what happened.... THIS

The back storage door where you put your jacks and wood blocks fell off! After walking a mile down the side of the road dodging speeding cars I found the door smashed and crumpled up in the fast lane. I guess we will just have to make a new one! But the whole way there and the way home that was the worst thing that happened so I think we are pretty lucky:)

We finally got there and it was so nice to just be camping and away from everything and just hang out with everyone. Russell's Grandparents are so cute and I love talking to his Grandpa!

So, Yesterday was June 3rd and No I did not drive a bus through the bank and this is why.. I have no patience therefore I could not wait until June 3rd to call someone at the bank. So about 3 days after my last post I called them and talked to the branch manager at the SLC branch She told me that we just needed to bring in some statements and before they could get the paperwork ready for closing we had to put a railing on the front and back porch.
(Do work Son!)

So I met My Dad at Metal Mart yesterday and we picked out all of the metal to build the railings and the guy that is living there will be out on July 5th! And that is when the construction begins...

I cant wait to start tearing down walls and painting! Its going to be ALOT of work, But it will be OUR own home so I am sure it wont be so bad!

ALSO.. Our camper is done! All of the weekends we have put in working on it have totally paid off. One more coat of paint on the outside and a good cleaning and she will be ready for the reunion!

RECAP..

My Dad comes over and offers to sell us his house for... 57 THOUSAND dollars. This is the house that he bought with my Mom when I was 1. Hell of a deal.. We go to the bank and get told EVERYTHING looks great you should be home owners by the end of APRIL (because what bank would turn that down???) First thing I ask our lovely bank man are there ANY liens on the title and he tells me NO every thing is looking great ( he has told me this every time I have talked to him starting in March) Well this is the same bank man who submitted our loan application that said Russ only made $700 a month . 2 weeks ago the appraisers came and did the appraisal over $115 thousand more than what We were buying it for. Well with our clean title and kick a** appraisal We get told last Monday that they were just waiting for the "Final" approval.. After NO call all week I asked Russell to go in there today and talk to him because not one time has he called us to inform us about the status of our loan, We have had to either call or go to the bank and track him down. Russell called him and told him to call me, After 2 hours of waiting I called him (He is scared of Me) He just wanted to let me know that the title that he looked up was clean but the title that the appraisal company looked up showed 2, YES 2 liens.. 1 for property tax and 1 is from the Utah Transit authority??? WTF would the UTA put a lien on a house? Did my Dad steal a UTA bus that I don't know about! So I am giving Mountain America a little deadline. I am not going to call them for updates anymore because he told me he would get a hold of me once they figured this problem out. He has until June 3rd which is my day off to get it together if I have not heard for him I am going in there and it will not be very pretty. I was so mad I wanted to drive my car through the damn bank which might happen on the 3rd so watch the news!

7) When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

So I know that I suck at this Blog thing.. but I am too busy and we never really have anything too exciting going on but here is a little update of our lifes.. We are in the process of trying to buy our first home and the wait is nearly killing me! We have been "flipping" a camper that my Grandma gave us before she passed away, It was alot of work but its almost done and it looks sooo good on the inside. Thanks to my Handy Man Father in law and Russ it almost looks brand new! The outside is not so pretty but we are going to paint it when its warmer outside. We have both been working alot and can not wait to take a vacay and go fishing! Still no babies, BUT we cant wait until we can finally get a puppy! and.. Go fishing did I already say that?? Oh I love summer..

Last weekend we met Russell's Mom and Step Dad in Las Vegas. It was so nice to just get away for the weekend. Saturday night we ate at the Prime which is at the Bellagio and it was delicious!

Then we played nickel slots all.. night.. long! It was the first time Russell had gambled and he loved it. (He is already planning a trip to Wendover) Sunday everyone left and it was just us against Vegas.. We walked all over the strip and decided to play a little bit of this

and that is were the trouble began.. We played for like 4 hours and then got hungry so we headed on down to.. Margaritaville

Where it always 5 0`clock! After a little more blackjack and a nap.. it was time to go and see..

This show was NOTHING like what I thought it was going to be. And I now know why its called "O" Because when you leave you say "O" my hell what was that?? But it is very cool and amazing what they can do I would definitely see it again! I think it had a little too many naked men in it for Russ though! Thank you so much Mary and Terry for a great weekend get away! It was much needed!

As many of you know my Mom and I carpool to work together and drive over 100 miles a day to get to and from work.. So instead of putting miles on our new cars we bought a little green car from a girl we work with, and named it Greenie Beanie. This car belonged to her son who was 17 and so it came with a pretty cool new stereo.. Which leads us to this Wednesday. My mom is back in school and has a statistics class on Wednesday nights so we drive our own cars on these days. She walked out to her car on her way to class only to find that someone had drilled out the key hole and just tore her dash apart and took her stereo and wallet. Credit cards, Costco and Sams cards, Social Security cards, DL.. and $27.oo . I have never been so mad in my life, and of all the 100 cars that are in our parking lot. Not that I would wish that on anyone (Except 1 person) but for it to happen to my Mom who has already had a very hard year. I was ready to kill someone and I know I would of if I knew who did it. I just cant understand why someone would want to do something to cause someone so much grief and stress, hope you enjoy your new stereo MF! (Had to keep it clean!)

I freakin hate you! We just found out we owe 2,100 dollars for taxes.. Why?? For working our butts off.. For actually supporting ourselves and not depending on others?? I just would like to tell you thanks!! I told Russ I was going to just quit my job.. (Mostly so I can start going to kick boxing classes in the morning! But I blamed it on taxes..) Its just frustrating.. 90+ hours every check I work just to owe that much money?? Maybe we will adopt some children this year..jk!

Shirley F. Ford

Shirley Faye Ford age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on the eve of December 15, 2008 after a long valiant fight with lung cancer. She was born and raised in Tulare California.

In 1982 she moved to Orem Utah with her husband and three children. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Pleasant Grove and had a strong profession of faith in God.

She leaves behind three children Penny (Gary) Baggs, Tracy Webster, Kevin (Tahnee) Redman, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She also leaves behind many church members whom she considered family. She is preceded in death by her Husband Thomas L. Ford and her grandson Brandon J. Green.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the staff at UVRMC, and LTAC for their care and compassion.

Memorial services will be held in Shirley's honor on December 20, 2008 at 1:00 pm at The First Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove. 340 East Center Street, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Condolences and flowers may be sent to Warenski Funeral Home at 1776 North 900 East American Fork Utah 84003.

Last night at 11:36 my grandma passed away after a very hard and long struggle with cancer. She was so strong and she fought as long as she could. We were all with her when she returned home. She was the most amazing person you have ever met and she will really be missed, I found this poem and it reminded me of something she would say.

Tonight Russ and I went and bought our Christmas tree.. I wanted a big huge really green fluffy one, and so I picked out the biggest greenest fluffiest one there and obviously forgot how tiny our living room was.. So now its nothing but tree! And we did not really have enough ornaments but I think it looks pretty good! This picture does not do it justice it is HUGE.. 7 feet tall and 4 feet wide!

Our tree stand was too small for it so we had to go buy a bigger one. Every time we have set up our tree since we have been together something breaks, the lights will not work, or we forget to buy something. So to get our tree set up usually takes about 3 trips to Walmart! Someday we will get this whole tree decorating thing down!

On Sunday afternoon my Sister called me and told me that my cousin Brandon overdosed on heroin and passed away that morning. His friends found him in a hotel in Lehi and called my Uncle and Aunt when they got there they would not let them go into the hotel to be with him because it was a crime scene. They released the body yesterday and the funeral is on Friday, Halloween of all days?? I have not had anyone close to me pass away except my Grandpa and My Grandma on my Dads side and those have both been a couple of years ago. I am already a mess because of what my Grandma is going through and I know she does not have alot of time left, and this was such a shock to all of us. I hate death and I know its a part of life but it is so hard. You do not know what you have until its gone, and you never know that when you talk to someone it could be the last time. I love you Brandon and I hope you are where you need to be.

On Monday, my Moms Dad flew in from Texas. This was the first time that Russ, Aub and I have ever met him and we are so happy that he is finally here. Today we had a BBQ at our house and this was the first time that my Grandma and Grandpa had seen each other in 42 years.. My Mom never knew him and then 2 years ago she found him. It has been such a blessing to our family. Before the BBQ Russ and I decided to put up some Halloween decoration mostly just ALOT of spider webs and black lights.. After everyone left we took some pictures of us caught in the spider webs (that explains the top pics..)

Last night we went to Toby Kieth and Montgomery Gentry.. It gotta lil crazy but it was so much fun! A lot of people told me that he was not that great in concert, but that was not even true. I have never had so much fun at a concert. It was even better than Gretchen Wilson.. and we know how much I love her!

Sand Dunes...

Saturday night we went down to the sand dunes for the night. I was not totally happy about going but Russ really wanted too, so being the great wife I am we went. I didnt want to take our tent because I wanted to sleep in the back of the truck BIG mistake.. In the back of our truck is this fabulous thing called a bed liner. It has grooves in it that are 2 inches deep. Even with 3 blanket under us it still hurt so bad! I kept telling Russ I couldnt sleep and all he would say was
"Find a groove" (he loves me..) While we were down there I even did some Christmas shopping at the little trailer stores! Russ was saying I could find somewhere to spend money even out in the middle of no where! This is true.. but I had so much fun and I am so happy that we went!

Every morning on this day I listen to the radio while I get ready for work. They play the phone calls and audio clips from 9/11. And every 9/11 I go to work with NO eye make up on and tear streaks in what make up I do have on. I love this country so much and I am so proud to be an American. I just want to thank all of troops that are fighting for our country and all of the ones who have fought for our country, and also all of their families.. GOD BLESS AMERICA..

Last night we went to see Batman with Aub and Zac. He moved to Wyoming (..Yes I am jealous) about a month ago and this was the 1st time he has came to visit since he has been gone.
We had alot of fun and I wish he didnt have to go back. Maybe next summer we will all be living out there.. hint, hint Russ! But he will be back in town for Toby Kieth and I cant wait! Love you guys!

Get a little mud on the tires...

Today we went riding at 5 mile with my family. We rode for about an hour and it started to get pretty hot but then we found a huge mud puddle and decided to cool off and get a lil muddy.. I think riding in the mud, or anything that will get me really dirty is my favorite thing to ride in and luckily I have a husband who is the same way. We have so much fun together and people were looking at us like we were crazy (it could have been because I was yelling at them to come get muddy with us!) but I love him so much and I love that he does crazy things with me! We were so muddy that you could not even see our clothes! P.S. we spent $20 dollars at the car wash and still had to come home and re-wash our wheelers..

This weekend we went down to my Dads house. And anyone who knows my Dad knows that he is ALWAYS buying cars, trucks, BOATS, and anything else that has a motor! Well when we pulled into his drive way there it was.. A 21 foot Bellboy! We started looking at it and then he told us it was ours. Thanks Dad! I have no idea what year it is but I was telling him last weekend that I wanted to get a little fishing boat and so now we have one! It needs to be cleaned up a little but he said it runs great. After we got home we went over to my step sisters house to look at her husbands 4 wheeler that they are trying to sale. I was going to buy a new one next spring but after Russ looked at this one he said that it was a way good deal and so we bought it. Its a Yamaha 660 and I am so happy because I wont have to deal with a big brand new 4 wheeler payment because its paid for! They also threw in a jet kit, paddle tires(which I will not be using no matter what Russ says!) Unless its in the snow..and ramps all for $1800! We took it for a test drive last night a did a 50 ft long wheelie down the street that I was not expecting so all I can say is that I cant wait to go to 5 mile because.. I wanna go fast!!

Scentsy and Chinchy!

So we are all unpacked (except for what needs to go in the attic.. and I am NOT going up there!!) I just need to go shopping and buy a couple more decorations.. because I am totally addicted to them and Russ told me that if I stopped buying them before we moved that after we moved I could buy as many as I wanted and let me tell you.. He never should have said that!! I also just bought our first Scentsy burner and I am in love with it, I will never buy another candle again! I would put some pictures on here but I am just a little dumb when it somes to computers so as soon as Lacy shows me how I will put some on here (Hint,Hint) Also a lady at work was moving so she gave me her chinchilla! Russ was a little mad when I brought her home but now he loves her he just wont admit it.. We have had her for about 2 months and she is so stinkin cute! Her name is Chinchy and she is crazy, she escaped out of her cage at 3 o`clock in the morning and came in to our room ( but only after she chewed on my brand new entertainment center) she chewed a hole underneath our box springs and was inside our bed chewing on the wood. I woke up and thought someone was breaking in our house, when I woke Russ up he turned the light on and looked under the bed just as she climbed out of the hole that she chewed. I could have killed her but I couldnt stop laughing.

Moving Days!

We are finally moving! We moved in with my parents about a month and a half before we got married so we could pay off some bills. Well we kinda just got comfortable and stayed a little longer than we planned(like a year) not that its a bad thing or anything but it will be so nice to have our own place and have all of our new stuff out of boxes! Also while I am on here since it does not happen very often.. I just want to say thank you to our parents for helping us and we really appreciate it!

The worst news ever

As many of you know my Grandma had lung cancer in Sept 07 and they removed part of her lungs. We all though she was 100% cancer free until this weekend. Friday we found out that her whole abdomin was full of cancer and the are only giving her 4-6 weeks to live. I have never felt so much pain in my life. I didnt know that you could cry until you ran out of tears. I know that everything is in Gods hands now and all I can do is just thank him for putting such a wonderful person in our lives and enjoy every minute I can with her. I love you Grandma

Russ and I went shooting with my family on Sunday and it was so much fun! Livie has never shot a gun before because.. she is only 4 so I had to teach her how! She didnt really like it because it was a little loud but she did good and she hit all her targets! If she is anything like me she will love it later on and want to go shooting every weekend! Russell is better at shooting clays but I just like shooting.. anything that is layin on the ground!

So we decided to try to start our little family. I went to the doctors this month and found out that I have polycystic ovarian syndrome which means its not just going to happen on its own, the doctor put me on a couple of different medicines and we will go from there! That news kind just put us in a sad little mood, but we are hopeful that everything will work its self out and God will make things happen when the time is right!
